The question I get asked most often is what products/services/tools I actually use for my own business. I’ve decided to take the time to compile a list of products I’m currently using at the moment. The IM landscape is always changing, so this page will be updated as I incorporate new things into my workflow.
Productivity
Dropbox – If you’re not using Dropbox, why not? Dropbox gives you 2 GB of online storage and allows you to sync your files across multiple computers automatically. I use it all the time to share files with my outsourced workers. Did I mention it’s free?
LastPass – I love LastPass. First, as a password manager so I don’t have to remember my passwords. Second, I use it to fill out forms. If you hate signing up for accounts, you need to use LastPass. It’s free, works with every browser and on PC or Mac. It’s a huge timesaver and it’s delaying the onset of carpal tunnel syndrome for me.
SEO / Linkbuilding
Vita Vee Forums – There’s no one better at teaching people how to get high search engine rankings than Vita Vee. Look at any IM product launch these days, and his students are all over the front page. Create a free forum account and learn from the master. He’s for real.
IM Automator – The best social bookmarking service. No need to create any accounts, just submit your links and go. The free account is limited to 10 submissions a day, but it posts your link to 15 social bookmarking sites. There’s no excuse not to use it to bookmark everything you do.
SENuke – The best link building software hands-down. Builds links on article directories, Web 2.0 profiles, handles profile link building, and video submissions. Plus it’s always updated so it’s always working. Yup it’s expensive, but use the trial and prove to yourself that it works.
Ultra Spinnable Articles – Hate writing articles? I certainly do. Yet, fresh articles are so important for link building. This service provides you with daily Ultra Spinnable articles that work seamlessly with most link building services. If you’re in the IM niche, this is the best and most affordable place to get high quality spun articles.
SpinnerTools – A free site I just found that converts your spun articles into different formats so you can easily submit them to different blog networks like (SEOLV, UAW, etc). Especially useful with Ultra Spinnable Articles.
Paid Traffic
PPV Playbook Forums – Yeah it’s a paid forum, but this is seriously where all the best PPV marketers hang out. There’s no better place to learn PPV and even other forms of paid traffic.
CPV Lab – Please use some sort of tracking when you’re launching PPV campaigns. Sure you can use Prosper202, but CPV Lab just blows it out of the water in every way (except price).
